Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using GuidedGroceries ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Who We Are

GuidedGroceries is operated by Ali Ken ("we", "our", or "us"), an individual developer based in the United States. You can reach us at hello@guidedgroceries.com.

Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
• Use automated means to access or scrape data from the App.
• Misuse, overload, or interfere with the App's infrastructure.

Accounts

You must create an account to use GuidedGroceries. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@guidedgroceries.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Free Tier and Subscriptions

GuidedGroceries offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The free tier includes ads served by Google AdMob and is limited to 10 saved recipes. The Pro subscription removes ads and unlocks unlimited recipes.

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on a monthly or annual basis. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date through your App Store or Google Play account settings. We do not handle billing directly and cannot issue refunds — all refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all pantry data, recipes, and meal plans you create in the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to operate the service. We do not claim ownership of your data and do not share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by GuidedGroceries and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our name, logo, or trademarks.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Meal planning suggestions and grocery lists are generated based on your inputs — we are not responsible for any dietary, health, or financial outcomes arising from their use.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuidedGroceries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Advanced → Delete Account). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
